1. WD-8000 Electronic Marker Locator

(1) Key Features

• The WD-8000 supports two working modes: analog electronic marker (without ID) detection and ID electronic marker detection. In analog electronic marker (without ID) detection mode, the WD-8000 can detect all electronic markers produced according to standard frequencies: gas 83 kHz (yellow), communications 101.4 kHz (orange), drainage 121.6 kHz (green), water supply 145.7 kHz (blue), power 169.8 kHz (red), universal 134 kHz, and GP 66.35 kHz (purple).

• Equipped with a high-gain RF antenna, it offers excellent anti-interference performance.

• In ID detection mode, it can read the preset ID number in the electronic marker. When used with the Yideng Android APP, the cloud database associated with this ID number provides additional information about underground facilities, such as site photos, installation date, construction personnel, type of underground facility (valve, joint, etc.), material, dimensions, and more.

• The RFID mode can be flexibly selected based on the type of underground electronic marker being detected and environmental interference conditions:

◆ RFID Off Mode: Pure analog detection mode, no RFID decoding, fast response speed, and excellent compatibility.

◆ RFID Auto Mode: Uses pure analog detection mode when scanning markers, attempts to read marker IDs only during depth measurement, saves power, and offers excellent compatibility.

◆ RFID On Mode: The detector continuously attempts to read marker IDs and only issues alerts upon successful ID retrieval, effectively blocking interference signals.
